It feels like a hundred years have passed since I got the keys to 2114 Main Street. We put so. many. hours. of love and labor into this building, and after many hiccups ( road work, heat wave, rusty sign bolt I'm looking at you) we finally had the Grand Opening of our dreams. We brought cumbia music to the streets of Forest Grove (pretty sure for the first time ever), there were delicious snacks, courtesy of our guest retailer, Mercado Lula, but most important was the feeling of community. We're building this community together.
So many of you told me that this is what our town needs. You told me that we need a place where cultura can be front and center, where you can be yourselves, where you can find sustainable gifts that inspire joy. And here we are.
